What We Do

Uniting 2 Save Animals (U2SA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue dedicated to finding safe, loving homes for dogs from West Virginia shelters and other dogs in dire circumstances. Under current policies, most of these dogs have only a short window of time to find placement before facing euthanasia.

Based in the Frederick/Hagerstown, Maryland area, our dedicated volunteers work tirelessly to create second chances through adopters, foster homes, and trusted rescue partners.

But our mission doesn't stop at rescue. U2SA is committed to expanding access to low-cost spay/neuter programs and supporting local dog owners with the resources they need to keep their pets healthy, safe, and in their homes.

We believe we can save more animals when we unite—bringing together people, businesses, fosters, volunteers, adopters, and animal welfare organizations.

Together, we can save more lives.
