At Uniting 2 Save Animals, our rescue is powered by dedicated volunteers working together toward one goal: saving animals and giving them the second chance they deserve.

Our organization is made up of volunteer teams, and every team plays a critical role in our rescue efforts. From helping an animal get to safety to supporting our fosters, networking dogs in need, assisting with events, or helping behind the scenes, there is a place for you on our team.

And the best part? 

You can give what you can.

Depending on the volunteer role, the time commitment can be as little as one hour a month—or you can become more deeply involved and give as much time as you have available.

Your time, your skills, your compassion, and even a few hours here and there can make an incredible difference.

  Prefer to roll up your sleeves and be part of the action? Our in-person volunteers play a vital role in helping animals move from shelter to safety and, ultimately, to home.

These volunteers primarily support our adoption events and transports, helping make sure our dogs are safe, supported, and ready for their next chapter.

In-person volunteer opportunities include:

• Adoption Coordinators & Volunteers — Help our dogs shine at adoption events and connect them with the people who may become their forever families.
• Event Coordinators & Volunteers — Help plan, organize, and support events that bring our rescue community together.
• Dog Handlers — Provide hands-on support for our dogs at events, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.
• Transport Drivers — Help move dogs from shelters and foster homes to safety, veterinary appointments, adoption events, and their next destination.

Every role matters. Every volunteer makes a difference. And every dog you help could be one step closer to home.

 Not able to attend events or volunteer in person? You can still make a life-saving difference from wherever you are.

Our remote volunteers provide the behind-the-scenes support that keeps U2SA moving forward. Their time, skills, and dedication help our rescue connect animals with adopters and fosters, support our volunteers, raise awareness, and make sure the important work of rescue gets done.

Remote volunteer opportunities include:

• Adoption Counselors — Help potential adopters navigate the adoption process and find the dog who may be the perfect match for their family.
• Foster Counselors — Support our foster families, answer questions, and help ensure both fosters and their dogs have the resources they need to succeed.
• Social Media Support — Help tell our dogs' stories, spread the word about animals in need, and connect them with the people who can help.
• Administrative Support — Provide essential behind-the-scenes assistance that helps our volunteers and rescue operations run smoothly.
• Fundraising Support — Help us raise the resources needed to provide shelter, transportation, veterinary care, and second chances.
