Why Foster?
Fosters are more than volunteers – they’re literal lifesavers.
When you foster a U2SA Dog, you are learning vital information about your foster dog.
Your foster dog will:
- have a safe and caring environment.
- experience the socialization of living in a house/home
- receive necessary medicine or treatments for medical issues
As a foster parent, you will:
- learn the likes/needs/characteristics of your foster dog.
- receive the support of our dedicated Foster Coordinator of our Foster Team.
- experience the fulfillment that comes with finding a forever home for your foster dog.
Fosters are provided with everything needed for their foster dog: food, supplies, equipment,
medicine, veterinary visits, and people to answer your questions, including an experienced dog
trainer.
We are currently seeking fosters in the Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia
area.
The more fosters we have, the more lives we can save.
