Giving us the ability to accept stocks as donations!
The Stock Donator platform makes it easier for 501(c)(3) nonprofits like Uniting 2 Save Animals (U2SA) to accept, process, and liquidate stock donations. By simplifying the process, Stock Donator helps us access an important source of funding while reducing administrative work for our volunteer team. The platform assists with stock transfers, compliance, and tax documentation, allowing us to focus on what matters most—saving dogs.
For donors, donating appreciated stock can be a tax-efficient way to give. Depending on your circumstances, you may be able to avoid capital gains tax on the appreciation and receive a charitable deduction based on the stock's fair market value. Please consult your tax advisor for guidance specific to your situation.
